Glinsen ErpIllustrative use case

Trading business · Inventory management

Connect orders, inventory and invoicing.

The challenge
Shop orders, inventory and commercial records are handled in separate systems. Handovers require repeated manual entry.
The approach
The order journey is mapped together. Required ERP modules and interfaces connect products, stock and the agreed commercial processing.
The intended outcome
A connected order workflow that can be tested in a pilot, with consistent data and clear handovers between sales, warehouse and administration.

PLANNING YOUR PROJECT

Is this right
for your project?

What do you need to achieve, what is already in place and what output does your team need? These questions define a useful starting point.

For connected inventory and order workflows

Glinsen ERP supports businesses that want to organise purchasing, inventory, sales and commercial administration on a shared basis. The underlying BigBang Tec solution connects inventory management with agreed modules and interfaces. Before selecting a setup, we examine how a product is created, purchased, stored, sold and invoiced. Breaks between systems are identified specifically. A new shop or warehouse may trigger the project, but the deciding question is which workflows your team needs to manage together and where consistent information is currently missing.

Review data and interfaces before implementation

Preparation considers product master data, inventory, open transactions and existing system connections. We clarify data quality, ownership and treatment of historical information. PIM, Shopware, Magnalister, DATEV, ecoDMS and OrderAssist are covered by the underlying offering; their specific use depends on version, package and project. Mobile capture and cloud or self-hosted deployment must also fit the operation. Mentioning an interface on the website is therefore not a substitute for checking the required connection, its supported workflow and the actual scope included in an offer.

Validate through a traceable workflow

A pilot should cover a complete but manageable workflow, from an order through inventory movement and dispatch to the agreed commercial processing. Your team checks whether information arrives correctly and exceptions remain manageable. Training, transition and support after launch are planned as well. For the first discussion, bring a system overview, number of locations, typical order journeys and the main operational problems. These inputs help determine which modules are needed first and which extensions can sensibly follow after the initial process has been validated.

The next step

Our first conversation establishes the scope of your project. You do not need a finished specification. A short description of the task, a preferred timeframe and the question currently holding you back are useful starting points. We can then decide whether an assessment, workshop, specific enquiry or pilot is appropriate. A proposal sets out the agreed scope, the input required from your team and the next steps. Decisions about extending the work are based on what we learn, keeping the initial engagement focused and understandable.

Good to know

The right questions.
A clear starting point.

Can I start with a smaller scope?

Yes. We scope the initial setup around your core workflows and plan useful extensions. The package and terms follow your requirements.

Does it replace every existing application?

Not necessarily. We assess what the ERP should handle and which systems should connect. Migration and integrations are therefore part of planning.

Which data needs preparing for a transition?

Typical inputs include product master data, stock, customer and supplier information and open transactions. Migration scope and quality checks depend on your source systems and the agreed implementation.

Which deployment models and interfaces are possible?

Cloud or self-hosted deployment and required interfaces are assessed for the project. Connections to shops, accounting or document management depend on version, package and workflow. Scope is confirmed before implementation.

What determines the cost?

Costs depend on the agreed assessment and setup, services or modules, interfaces and ongoing support. After clarifying your needs, we provide a proposal covering the specific scope and commercial terms.

How soon can we start?

Timing depends on scope, available information and required approvals. The first conversation defines a practical starting point. We then align preparation, the schedule and the input needed from your team.
